Launched in 1971, these icons of 1970s design are amongst the firm's most popular vintage models. For a detailed description and illustrations of the models see Alberto Isnardi's Tudor Anthology, pp. 124-155. To revitalize this legendary chronograph - imbued with the spirit of chic and sophisticated holiday destinations of the 1970s - TUDOR reinterpreted it and launched the Heritage Chrono in 2010. This modern version of the icon of the 1970s incorporates the faithful reproduction of the key characteristics of the historic model, the first series featuring a black or grey dial like the very first "Montecarlo", the second launched in 2013 a blue dial, just like the second "Montecarlo" series.
