Hand-coloured aquatint panorama, 104 mm x 17.99 metres (4 1/8 in. x 59 feet) approx., comprising numerous sections (each over 500 mm./20 in.) joined together, the title-leaf divided and used as paste-downs, unsigned, printed captions in lower margin identify the participants, printed titles set vertically at each end: in English at right, in French at left. (A few small repaired nicks/tears, a few occasional pale stains.) Mounted as issued in publisher’s pink cloth wallet, decorated in gilt, brass clasp and catch; cloth slipcase. Provenance: James Frampton (1769-1855, lawyer from Moreton; bookplate) -- John Pierpont 'J.P.' Morgan (1837-1913; purchased at his sale 21 March 1944, lot 309).
