Each on spreading foot, with scroll handles, detachable cover and pinecone finial, cast and applied with flowers and scrolls, engraved twice with coat-of-arms, marked on base and cover bezel
7 5/8 in. (19.4 cm.) long over handles
53 oz. 3 dwt. (1,652 gr.)
The arms are those of Neave impaling Digby for Sir Thomas Neave, 2nd Bt. (1761-1848) and his wife Francis Caroline (d.1835), daughter of the Very Rev. Hon. William Digby, Dean of Durham, whom he married in 1791.
