A QUEEN ANNE SILVER-GILT CUP AND COVER
MARK OF WILLIAM DENNY, LONDON, 1702
Inverted bell-shaped on spreading stepped circular foot, with beaded scroll side handles, the stepped domed cover with baluster finial, later chased with flutes and stamped with flower-heads, one side later engraved with two coats-of-arms accolé, marked near rim and on cover bezel

The arms are those of Neave accolé with Digby for Sir Thomas Neave, 2nd Bt. (1761-1848) and his wife Francis Caroline (d.1835), daughter of the Very Rev. Hon. William Digby, Dean of Durham, whom he married in 1791.
