YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The conical bowl and domed cover are similarly decorated in a rich doucai palette with two writhing five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst multi-coloured stylised clouds and flames, above a band of swirling waves.
8 1/4 in. (20.9 cm.) diam.
