A LARGE PALE CELADON JADE BALUSTER VASE
QING DYNASTY, 18TH-19TH CENTURY
The rounded oblong body is carved in shallow relief with two rectangular panels, each depicting figures offering tributes within a landscape scene. The narrow sides are similarly carved with deer and birds among pine trees. Supported by a spreading foot incised with squared spiral within a lappet band. The trumpet-shaped neck carved with further lappets, flanked on either side with angular handles with loose rings.
