The tondo with a gorgoneion; each side of the exterior with Dionysos and Ariadne seated together on a stool between large eyes, the god holding the stem of a kantharos, vines in the field, a gesticulating satyr flanking the eyes, walking away but looking back, a flying bird below each handle; details in added red and white
