The ovoid body on a flat base, the underside with lathe-turned concentric bands, tapering to a short neck, the rim edged with an egg-and-dart molding, beading above, the separately-cast handle with a foliate shaft, with duck-head terminals emerging along the join of the rim, the handle plate in the form a mask of Silenus
