AN IRANIAN BRONZE AND STONE DAGGER
CIRCA EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Cast in one section, the lanceolate blade with a raised mid-rib, the hilt adorned with hatched and zigzag bands along the perimeter, inlaid with white stone inserted into both sides at the lower end and fastened along the length by three pins, two now missing, terminating in ear-shaped pommels
