A LURISTAN BRONZE GODDESS FINIAL
CIRCA 9TH-7TH CENTURY B.C.
Her columnar body with a narrow waist and prominent buttocks, her legs together with the knees bent, her arms at her side and bent, with her hands wrapped around her breasts, a bird head emerging from each shoulder, the avian body modeled along each of her upper arms, wearing a wide flanged belt, an elaborate broad collar and a diadem, her face with large convex eyes, a smiling mouth and a prominent nose leading to gently-arching brows, a circular collar at the upper and lower ends
