A LURISTAN BRONZE GODDESS FINIAL
CIRCA 9TH-7TH CENTURY B.C.
Her columnar body with a narrow waist and prominent buttocks, her back ribs articulated, her straight legs together, both arms bent at the elbow, with her left hand wrapped around her breast, her right resting on her pudenda, wearing a broad belt formed of five twisted bands, and a chevron-decorated sash tapering down the front of her straight legs, adorned with two coiled bracelets on each forearm, and a beaded necklace, crowned with spherical striated headdress, her smiling face with large convex eyes, a curving nose merging with angular brows, prominent rectangular ears, and a flange at the back of the head, a circular collar at the upper and lower ends
