The panels are decorated in carved cinnabar lacquer, wood, jades, and various colourful hardstones. One panel depicts two vases containing leafy floral sprays, above a dish containing the Three Abundances, (sanduo, including peach, pomegranate and finger citron), and a smaller vessel containing further leafy floral sprays. The other panel is similarly decorated with two tall-necked vases and a compressed globular vessel containing floral sprays, beside a reticulated oval jade plaque depicting a bird with flowers; restorations.
