CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, EPOQUE QIANLONG-JIAQING (1736-1820)
The first plaque is bat-shaped and the wings and fur are picked out in blue, red, puce, yellow and white enamels. The reverse is inscribed with a four-character inscription Enpu zhizao ('made by Enpu'). The second plaque is formed from gilt-metal cloud bands and enclosing on each side stylized lotus on a turquoise ground.
9¼ in. (23.4 cm.) and 5¼ in. (13.5 cm.) long

The property of a distinguished North American collector.
