MARK OF NICOLAUS WEIß, NUREMBERG, CIRCA 1630
Faceted cylindrical and on spreading foot with beaded scroll handle, the hinged domed cover with baluster finial and double scroll thumbpiece, the body chased with foliate scrolls and panels with fruit, flowers and vegetables, marked under foot and inside cover, further marked underneath with later Strasbourg control mark
