2° (492 x 337mm). 48 engravings, some folding, including the engraved title and 29 engravings from the series by Cesio, together with four by Petrus Testa, six by Salvatore Rosa, six by Charles Vanloo titled Six figures académiques, and three after Pietro da Cortona. (Occasional light marginal wear, occasional faint marginal dampstain, one Cortona plate lightly and evenly browned.) 19th-century half calf, flat spine lettered directly and roll-tooled in gilt (joints starting, spine ends chipped, corners rubbed, sides scuffed). Provenance: Hugh Lupus, 1st Duke of Westminster (1825-1899; bookplate).

A fine group of old master prints, mostly after Carracci, but also including Pietro da Cortona, and work by Testa, Rosa and Vanloo.
