the break arch case with foliate-cast urn finials to the angles, arched fish scale sound frets to the sides and handles above, Corinthian columns to the front, on moulded base with bracket feet, the brass dial with silvered chapter ring and matted centre, foliate spandrels, chime/silent and Westminster/Eight bells in the arch, the triple chain fusee movement with anchor escapement, pin barrel chimes on eight bells and hour strike on gong, the backplate engraved with foliate scrolls and conforming decoration to the pendulum -- 18in.(46cm.) high
