TWO WHITE JADE RECTANGULAR SNUFF BOTTLES
1750-1870
The larger bottle is carved on the two main facets with shou (long life) and fu (happiness) characters, and on the narrow facets with a xi character, implying double happiness, shuang xi, and there is an area of russet color on one side. The smaller bottle has plain, raised panels on the sides.
2 ¼ and 2 in. (5.7 and 5 cm.) high, glass and mother-of-pearl stoppers
