A FIVE-COLOR-OVERLAY WHITE GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE
1760-1830
The bottle is carved through the translucent overlay of ruby-red, sapphire-blue, turquoise, amber-yellow and olive-green to the white ground with the Eight Buddhist Emblems (bajixiang), and the foot is cleverly formed by the green conch shell.
2 ¼ in. (5.8 cm.) high, pink tourmaline stopper
