IMPERIAL, JINGDEZHEN KILNS, DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The body is molded in high relief with a continuous scene of figures in boats, three figures in a sampan on one side and two standing in a skiff on the reverse, the two scenes separated by willow trees growing from rocks, and all against a ground of wind-tossed waves below multi-colored clouds and a band of key fret on the neck.
