A gentleman called George Gordon, 9th Marquess of Huntly (1761-1853) by Jeremiah Meyer, R.A. (Anglo-German, 1735-1789); together with a gentleman, possibly Mr Reaston by Andrew Plimer (British, 1763-1837)
The latter signed with initials and dated 'AP / 1786' (mid-left)
Both on ivory
Ovals, 36 and 35 mm. high, gold bracelet frame and gilt-metal frame, respectively
