TWO LOW ZITAN STANDS
18TH-19TH CENTURY
Each is carved from a single section of finely grained zitan. The first has a finely carved circular top above a narrow waist and is raised on a hexagonal base with finely beaded edges above six ruyi-form feet. The second, thickly carved, hexagonal stand has a circular depression on the top and raised molded outer rims above a narrow waist and finely beaded, shaped aprons raised on six ruyi-form feet.
