QAJAR IRAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Of typical form, on short straight foot, the polychrome painted decoration depicting courtly scenes in elongated lobed medallions, a Qajar youth addresses a bearded man smoking a huqqa to one side, the same youth is handed a kashkul to the other side, the rounded top and ends with birds perched on a rising floral spray reserved on blue field, on white ground, with suspension chain
