Arabic manuscript on paper, 216ff. plus one fly-leaf, each folio with 17ll. of small black naskh script, with gold roundel verse markers, sura headings in red thuluth script within cartouches, text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, marginal markers in red thuluth script, with catchwords, opening and final bifolios with fine gold and polychrome illuminated headpieces and margins, preceded with tables left blank for sura titles, in fine original lacquer binding
