MOSTLY IRAN, 14TH TO 19TH CENTURY
Mostly in nasta’liq, naskh and shikasteh scripts and fine examples of calligraphy, comprising numerous folios from manuscripts and calligraphic exercises, nasta’liq quatrains, including a large panel in gold thuluth script outlined in black, a large folio from a 13th century manuscript of Al-Tabari, a panel on blue paper finely illuminated with a combat of qilins, in a modern folder

These lots have been imported from outside the EU for sale using a Temporary Import regime. Import VAT is payable (at 5%) on the Hammer price. VAT is also payable (at 20%) on the buyer’s Premium on a VAT inclusive basis.
