Euclid's Elements is a mathematical and geometric treatise which consists of thirteen books written by the Greek mathematician Euclid in Alexandria, around 300 B.C. It has formed the basis of school geometry until the late 20th century .The manuscript offered here is a copy of Tusi's Tahrir (or recension/edition) of Euclid's Elements. It contains the first two maqalas (books) out of fifteen. It is based on the translations of the work done by al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf (early 9th century) and Thabit bin Qurra (end of the 9th century).
