CORRESPONDENCE
A pair of white glazed ceramic plates
2010
Park Young-Sook for the porcelain and Lee Ufan for the painting (Seoul, Korea)
Each circular plate delicately covered with pure white glaze, one with red enamel stroke, the other with two cobalt blue enamel strokes in different directions. The simplicity of the decoration makes it powerful and complements the purity and warmth of the thinly glazed white porcelain. The pair is a perfect example of a successful collaboration between the two artists; signed and dated in red and blue enamel on the turning edge L. Ufan 10
