Lot Essay

Bloom is inspired by the spring flowers of Namaqualand’s desert and embodies the idea of transformation between ‘lifeless’ landscapes and the explosive exuberance of colour and rhythm. Units can be separated to appear chaotic, or connected to form a cohesive, functional surface.
