A LARGE FAMILLE ROSE 'MAGPIE' VASE
YONGZHENG PERIOD (1723-1735)
The vase is decorated to the exterior with a pair of magpies perched on the branches of a blossoming prunus tree with iron red bats and insects to the reverse. The neck is further embellished with a large peony bloom and butterflies.
