CHONGZHEN-SHUNZHI PERIOD (1628-1661)
The broad-shouldered jar is decorated with two large panels each enclosing a dignitary and his servants on a fenced or riverside terrace. Each panel is inscribed with two lines of calligraphy.

Provenance
A private Swiss collection, predominantly acquired in France in the 1980s and 1990s.
