A PAIR OF WHITE JADE AND GILT-DECORATED BOWLS AND COVERS
18TH CENTURY
Each bowl is raised on a short circular foot and is carved with flared sides rising to a lipped rim. The sides are incised and gilt to both the exterior and the interior with blossoming prunus branches. The domed covers are carved with circular finials and are similarly decorated. The stone is of a slightly flecked greyish white tone.
4 ¾ in. (12 cm.) diam.
