A LARGE SILVER PLATED SEVEN-LIGHT CANDELABRUM CENTREPIECE

Formed as an oak tree, the rocky base applied with a seated figure of an Arcadian shepherd and three sheep, below six detachable branches and a seventh central light or alternately a basket for a glass dish, with inscription 'PRESENTED TO MR. TIMSON MARCH 29TH 1860 BY THE GENTLEMEN OF THE NEW FOREST HUNT ON HIS RESIGNING OF THE MANAGEMENT OF THE HOUNDS' marked near base and stamped underneath 'R 2469', glass-dish lacking
