Incised decoration, including three two-masted ships under sale, stylized trees, an owl, two serpents, plus cross-hatching at the edges of the horn. (A later owner has engraved his name: “J.R.Riley”; minor staining). An attractive, relative early powder horn, conspicuous for its varied decoration. -- POWDER HORN.
