With cylindrical body fitted with folding leather neck-flap, false front with gilt-brass plate bearing the crowned 'GR' cypher, gold and crimson festoon with single bullion tassel, black cockade, and later white feather plume, leather sweat-band, lining and crown lining to the inside, the latter with remains of trade label partially covering a red maker's stamp, 9 in. (23 cm.) high
