A FINE CASED .450 (3 ¼ IN. BLACK POWDER EXPRESS) DOUBLE-BARRELLED TOPLEVER HAMMER RIFLE

With blacked 28 in. (71 cm.) black powder only chopperlump Whitworth steel barrels, treble-grip action with carved fences, rebounding bolted floating back-action locks, best quality bouquet and scroll engraving throughout, retaining nearly all its original finish throughout, well figured 14 in. pistolgrip stock fitted with a small engraved plate at the wrist for a Lyman aperture sight (noted in factory records), sling mounts, and silver escutcheon, weight 8 lbs. 7 7/8 oz., in original makers brass-cornered oak and leather case with some accessories including blued aperture rear-sight and clip-on sight-cover (both mentioned in makers records), the exterior named to 'THE HON.BLE C. FITZWILLIAM'
