A VERY FINE REMY RICHARD ENGRAVED 28-BORE 'MODEL DE LUXE' ROUNDED-BAR SELF-OPENING HAND-DETACHABLE SIDELOCK EJECTOR

With blacked 28 in. (71 cm.) nitro chopperlump barrels, 2 ¾ in. (70 mm) chambers, bored approx. ¼ and ½ choke, locks each with blued pins and gold-inlaid cocking-indicator, automatic safety, rolled-edge trigger-guard, finely engraved throughout with flowering scrollwork inhabited by song birds against a blackened matt ground, the underside of the action with a game bird vignette, trigger-plate signed by the engraver, highly figured 14 in. stock, gold escutcheon engraved with the initials 'J.F.B.', this gun appears to be in virtually unfired condition, weight 5 lbs. 12 oz.

The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed for the vendor in 2005.
