Each stool with burr-elm seat and oak legs, the table in four sections and with yew lattice centre section, each stool stamped JOHN MAKEPEACE, DESIGNERS AND MAKERS
23 ¾ in. (60 cm.) high; 67 ½ in. (171 cm.) x 78 in. (198 cm.); the top 3 ½ in. (9 cm.) thick
Provenance
The National Maritime Museum, London. It was a special commission in 1992 for the Education Centre to be used by families and children.
