TWO AGATE SNUFF BOTTLES
1730-1860
The first bottle, 1730-1850, is well-hollowed, the stone punctuated with white and brown swirls centered with dark eyes forming a 'spiderweb' pattern, and the narrow sides carved with mask and ring handles. The second bottle, 1740-1860, is well-hollowed, the stone with bands of tan, blood-red, white, gray and mauve tones.
1 ¼ and 1 7/8 in. (5.7 and 4.8 cm.) high, shell and glass stoppers
