Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the enthroned and haloed Mughal emperor depicted facing left, under a parasol, wearing a white turban and tunic tied with a gold embroidered sash securing a katar, a tulwar and shield to his sides, a falcon perched on his right forearm, laid down on marbled card, in gold floral margins, with gold and black rules, mounted, glazed and framed
