A BURLWOOD CYLINDRICAL BRUSH POT AND A HARDWOOD AND BAMBOO SQUARE-FORM BRUSH POT, BITONG
19TH AND 20TH CENTURY
The burlwood brush pot is of slightly waisted form. The square-form brush pot is carved to each side with a rectangular panel inset with nine small spotted bamboo shoots, framed by a poetic inscription to each edge.
The largest, 5 ½ in. (14 cm.) high

Property from a Private Asian Collection, predominantly assembled in the 1980s and 1990s.
