A GROUP OF FOUR ZITAN AND HARDWOOD CARVINGS
19TH AND 20TH CENTURY
The group consists of an ebony carving of a shell and smaller crustaceans; a zitan rectangular plaque carved with archaistic scrolls; a reticulated hardwood brush rest carved with quails and millet; and a hardwood mountain-form brush rest carved with dragons.
The largest, 5 5/8 in. (14.3 cm.) wide
