QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The washer is carved in the form of a lotus leaf with a lotus flower stemming from its root opposite a crane with a lingzhi branch. A catfish is carved on the underside, the stone is of a milky white tone with concentrated areas of russet. The pen holder is carved in low relief with a bird flying amidst flowering branches, the stone is of an even celadon tone, with a spinach jade mount to either end.
