QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
One carving depicts a boy playing a drum, holding a drum stick in one hand and a sprig of lingzhi fungus in the other, with a cat to the reverse, the stone is of an even pale tone. The other carving depicts a recumbent boy wearing long robes and celestial scarves, the stone is of a pale celadon tone with some russet inclusions.
The largest, 2 ¾ in. (7 cm.) wide

Property from a Private Asian Collection, predominantly assembled in the 1980s and 1990s.
