AN UNUSUAL WHITE, RUSSET AND CELADON JADE 'BIRD AND PEACH' GROUP

The bird is delicately carved with finely incised feathers, perched beside a leafy branch sprouting two peaches. The stone is of an exceptionally pale tone, with two small areas of russet skin used to highlight the peaches, and a small area of green inclusion carved as a leaf.
