A PAIR OF POLYCHROME-DECORATED CARVED WOOD FIGURES OF BUDDHIST GUARDIANS
17TH CENTURY
Each fierce multi-head guardian has multiple arms and is carved wearing armour visible beneath their robes that are loosely secured at the chest. The figures have traces of red, black, green pigments and gilt.

Property from a Private Swiss Collection, amassed between 1963 and 1980.
