Recorked in 2016 by Francisco Albuquerque. New wax capsules. Stencilled bottles, slightly fading. Levels into neck.
Tasting note: Very fine nose, softy sweet and aromatically styled, honey cake, some ethereal, wax, smoked almonds, pure and intriguing. Elegant and layered. As if dancing in your glass. Well balanced appearance, the taste is exactly as the nose promises. Elegant fine softly sweet, raisins, honey cake (great Madeiran specialty), soft acidity in harmony with the rich mouth feel. A very good Bual on the finesse. June 2016. EV.
