A November 1966 handwritten letter from George Harrison to Arthur Unger; three pages, double-sided, original mailing envelope with the label THE POST OFFICE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OPENING THIS PACKAGE FOR EXAMINATION BY CUSTOMS AND HAVE RESEALED IT. The former Beatle discusses his recent trip to India, The religion is everywhere you look and it's a pleasure seeing and being with others who believe in something real--instead of a lot of hypocrits. He talks about his extensive reading on the teachings of Swami Vivekananada, One in particular has influenced me a lot, I think would knock you out. It's called "Autobiography Of A Yogi" by Paramahansa Yogananda. Just noticed that it's a London Publisher, so I'll send you a copy, say no more! He's such a great man--like Jesus Christ... Accompanied by a typed translation of the letter. Together with the book "Autobiography Of A Yogi" sent to Arthur Unger, inscribed and signed on the first page To Art with all good wishes from George Harrison.
