An 18th Century style composite seven-piece composite tea and coffee service,
comprising: an octagonal tea kettle, teapot, coffee pot, hot milk jug, sugar basin and cream jug, the first four pieces with polished wood handles and octagonal wood finials, the tea kettle with swing handle and stand with scroll and octagonal pad supports, with a burner with detachable metal top, the last piece in the set a shaped oblong two-handled tea tray with moulded rim and plain ground, the first six items Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Limited, London 1935, 1937 and 1938, the tray Thomas Bradbury & Son, London 1938 - height of kettle on stand 15¼in. (38.75cm.), length of tray 29¼in. (74.25cm.) overall, weight excluding metal component of burner 375.50oz. gross.
