Large title woodcut of a man reading at his desk in his study, smaller woodcut of a teacher with pupils on verso, numerous full-page woodcut illustrations of palms, printer's device of a bull on final leaf. (A few leaves lightly browned, occasional light soiling.) Old drab wrappers (lightly soiled, repaired along joints).
Second edition in Italian of this work on chiromancy concerning the search for symbolic letters in the lines of the palm, a practice developed by Jewish and cabbalistic writers. BL/STC Italian Books p.680.
