The shaped top above four frieze drawers divided by four carved flowerheads and centred by a lion's mask, on spirally turned and reeded tapering legs headed by four further lion masks terminating in hairy paw feet

This serving table, with its distinctive spirally turned tapering legs headed by lion masks, which were previously bronzed, follows almost exactly the design published by Thomas Sheraton in his Encyclopedia of 1804.
