Reference 5513 was launched in 1962 and depth rated to 200 meters (660 feet). Manufactured in the first year of production for this model, the case back is stamped 1.62, providing information that it was in fact manufactured during the first quarter of the first year of the reference production. The present model also features a gilt dial with silver two-line printing and "exclamation," making this watch a very rare and desirable timepiece. The present watch is preserved in excellent, unpolished condition with no service marks to the back. It is truly an outstanding example of an early reference 5513.
